Battle of Bound Brook

Battle of Hubbardton

July 6 - 8, 2018   BY INVITATION ONLY  - The Vermont Division of Historic Preservation along with the Revolutionary War Department of the Living History Association and the Brigade of the American Revolution present the weekend commemoration of the Battle of Hubbbardton.   Host units are the 24th Regiment of Foot and Greaton's 3rd Massachusetts.  Plans call for tacticals both Saturday and Sunday afternoons and the recreation of the Battle Sunday Morning. Glover's Summer Encampment

Defiance and Independence

2018 EVENT - INVITATON ONLY July 20 to 22, 2018  -  Over 2000 acres of land are part of this beautiful site.   The Americans will garrison the fort and the Crown forces will be outside the fort in the battlefield.   Brush can be cut to make huts.   Saturday morning will be a private battle for reenactors, with a public battle on Saturday afternoon.    The artillery will positioned on top of Mount Defiance.   Sunday will see the taking of the outer works, pushing the Americans down to the lake.   There is a possibility of a boat landing.   Dress will be early war militia kit.  Clothing guidelines  will be published on the website. Assault on Fort Ontario

August 24 to August 26, 2018 - Storm the walls of Fort Ontario and conquer  the British within it's walls!  Hosted by 1st NY McCracken's Co 1777 and HM 24th of Foot, this reenactment is located in a historic fort in New York State.  The British will sleep in the fort's barracks while the American Forces will have a tent encampment on the grounds outside the fort   The American Forces will be able to make an assault on Fort Ontario by storming the walls.  Registration is required and the deadline is June 24th, 2018.  No walk-ons will be allowed.  All units must be in good standing with the Continental Line/British Brigade and insured as well.   For registration, follow this link!451372&authkey=!AIgFe_IHNJFJDFY    Schedules will be posted on this site as they become available.  For more information contact Mitch Lee using the form below.


Fort Klock's Interrupted Harvest

September 29 & 30, 2018 - Fort Klock, St Johnsville, NY  The Fort Klock Historic Restoration is currently planning its "Interrupted Harvest" at the fort's location in the beautiful Mohawk Valley.  The theme will be the influx of refugees from the west into the Mohawk Valley due to the Loyalist and Native raids of 1778, leaving the ripening crops behind in the fields.   There will be scripted tacticals each day utilizing the Klock fortified homestead.  In addition, there will be a non-public tactical within walking distance of the site.  Civilian programming will focus on the plight of the refugees.

Battle of Germantown

Assault on Fort Mercer

October 21, 2018 - Join in the commemoration of the 1777 assault on Fort Mercer of the grounds surrounding the original fort in Red Bank Battle Field Park, National Park, NJ.   The  anniversary of this important Philadelphia Campaign attack should be an especially interesting and action-filled event.  Your unit will receive a stipend for each uniformed soldier present on the field and significant additional funds for artillery.  Antique dealers, sutlers and craft people will be set up among the exhibitors near the historic Whitall House as well.  Registration deadline is August 1.   The registration form and instructions are  attached below For more information, use the "Contact Us" form below.

Revolutionary War Field Days at Historic Camden

November 2 to 4, 2018 - Historic Camden's annual signature event, held the first weekend in November, is Revolutionary War Field Days.   Reenactors from more than 20 states gather on Friday to set up both British and Continental camps for one of the oldest Revolutionary War reenactments in the United States.  Historic Camden Revolutionary War Site is a 107 acre outdoor museum complex that offers a view of life during the Colonial and Revolutionary War periods in Camden and Kershaw Counties.  Included are two circa-1800 log houses that contain exhibits, the restored and refurbished 1785 John Craven House, the 1830 Cunningham house (office/gift shop) a blacksmith shed with working traditional forge, the yet-to-be restored 1795 McCaa house, reconstructions of some of the fortifications built by the British and the reconstructed colonial Georgian house built by Joseph Kershaw, commandeered as headquarters by Charles Lord Cornwallis during the British occupation of Camden in 1780-1781.  Visit the Facebook website https:/  or the website   For more information contact Erick Nason ( ) or Alexis Dekeyser ( )  or use the "contact us" form below. 



American Heritage Festival

December 1 & 2, 2018 - Come celebrate history at the American Heritage Festival on Friday, December 1st through Sunday December 3rd in Lake City, SC! Battle reenactments, wander through a colonial Christmas village and visit merchants.   Grab a beer in the party tent, listen to the speakers and enjoy the bands.  Be sure to attend the Saturday evening torch-lit parade and night firing of muskets and cannons during the "Night of Light" festivities.
